Academic Support

University of Minnnesota Campus

Welcome, Students!

Below are some of the unique academic and professional support programs available for graduate students on the University of Minnesota campus. The list includes some of the resources highlighted on our website.

The Community of Scholars Program (COSP)

The COSP aims to create an institutional environment that supports the academic and professional success of graduate students who have historically been under-represented in academia. Through the Summer Institute, workshops, and individual counseling, COSP assists students to develop supportive relationships with advisors and mentors, and to provide resources for academic and professional development. COSP builds a sense of community through partnerships with University departments and Twin Cities organizations/ institutions to connect students to research, teaching and civic engagement opportunities. COSP participants are US citizens and permanent residents.
