The Consulate of Guatemala represents and protects the interests of Guatemalans in Minnesota. The consulate furthers the development of commercial, economic, cultural, and scientific relations between Guatemala and Minnesota; promotes friendly relations between both states; advises Guatemalans and refers them to appropriate services; acts as a notary for the legalization of Guatemalan documents; helps to register the births and deaths of Guatemalans within its jurisdiction; promotes Guatemalan nationality and culture; and fosters knowledge of Guatemalan history and arts in Minnesota.

Latino The mission of Mano a Mano Medical Resources is to create partnerships with impoverished Bolivian communities to improve health and increase economic well-being. The organization seeks donations of surplus medical supplies and equipment, transports them to Bolivia, and distributes them to nonprofit facilities that serve the poor. The organization also partners with rural Bolivian communities to construct and operate community clinics and to address other health and education needs.

Multicultural Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights is a nongovernmental organization dedicated to the promotion and protection of internationally recognized human rights. The organization documents human rights abuses, advocates on behalf of individual victims, educates on human rights issues, and provides training and technical assistance to address and prevent human rights violations. The Adovcates seeks to promote and protect the human rights of asylum seekers, refugees, and immigrants and provides access to free legal services in approximately 1,000 immigration cases annually.
