Greater Than 7: Courageous Conversations About Equity and Diversity
SEPTEMBER 28 - OCTOBER 4, 2015
About Greater Than 7
Equity and diversity is everybody's everyday work.
We hope you've had a chance to share your thoughts about equity and diversity on the Say it in 7 page.
But, we know there aren't enough words to talk about equity and diversity and how it impacts your life and the life of the U. The climate we live, learn and work in affects the way we communicate with others, our engagement in our work, and how we see ourselves as participants in the life of the U.
The Office for Equity and Diversity invites you to open up the dialogue by participating in Greater Than 7: Courageous Conversations About Equity and Diversity, a week of events designed to engage our entire University community in the work of co-creating an environment where all can thrive.
How do we honor differences and nurture our common ground? How do we focus our attention on tackling the world’s grand challenges as we meet our own challenges at home?
We encourage university departments, colleges and student groups to pose these questions and others. Plan your own equity and diversity events* throughout the week of September 28 - October 4, and submit your event online.
Enter the conversation. And then keep it going.
*You can plan new events, or include already-scheduled events in Greater Than 7.
