Graduate Peer Mentors

The Graduate Student Peer Mentor Program is designed to pair LGBTQIA graduate students in a mentorship relationship, to share information about navigating the University of Minnesota and the Twin Cities broadly as an LGBTQIA graduate student. This program pairs first and second year graduate student mentees with more advanced graduate student mentors for a full academic year. Over the course of the mentorship relationship, mentors act as a resource, a referral service and colleague to their mentee, helping them to adjust to life as a LGBTQIA graduate student and offering guidance and support.
