Student Leadership Retreat

The LGBTQIA Leadership Retreat Program is centered around defining and applying leadership with a social justice lens. Over the course of 2 days, University of Minnesota undergraduate students will have to opportunity to build community while exploring intersecting identities and oppressions.

Mission

The LGBTQIA Leadership Retreat Program exists to foster reflection on leadership locally and globally for LGBTQIA students at the University of Minnesota, by engaging in a myriad of activities and exercises. 

Sexuality and Gender Ambassadors (SAGA)

SAGA (Sexuality and Gender Ambassadors) is a group of undergraduate students who dedicate their time during the semester to promote the Gender and Sexuality Center for Queer and Trans Life around campus by offering informational presentations to classes, student organizations, and university departments and creating, budgeting, and running fun events and activities to better engage the campus community. As a collective group of LGBTQIA students, we work to educate faculty, staff, and students on LGBTQIA issues.
