Men of Color Think Tank

The Men of Color Think Tank will take place April 21-22, 2016.

At this special event, the University of Minnesota Office for Equity and Diversity brings together faculty and staff at the U of M and surrounding institutions, as well as thought leaders from community organizations to break down the myths surrounding men of color and education.

The Men of Color Think Tank will feature roundtables for planning and mapping the road forward and a keynote presentation by Dr. Samuel (Sam) Museus. Dr. Museus is an associate professor at Indiana University-Bloomington, director of the Culturally Engaging Campus Environments (CECE) Project, and national expert on understanding the racial, cultural, structural factors that affect the experiences and outcomes of diverse populations in higher education. Museus is also an alumnus of the University of Minnesota.
