Student Advisory Team

The Office for Equity and Diversity (OED) Student Advisory Team is a cohort of students interested in engaging more deeply with the work of achieving the University of Minnesota’s most ambitious equity and diversity goals. Advisory team members play a pivotal role in advising the Vice President and OED leadership on policies, procedures and best practices, and assisting us in assessing our current student-facing programs and initiatives. Similarly, advisory team members serve as ambassadors of OED to the campus community, will work to foster a campus climate in which all students can achieve their full potential as learners and leaders, and will promote equity and diversity as a collective, shared responsibility of all members of the campus community.

As advisory team members, students will also have the opportunity to cultivate relationships across campus, as well as to develop and practice personal leadership skills.
