Workshops and trainings are available for classes, organizations, and departments regarding improving the climate for women, women and leadership, feminism today, etc. Visit our events page to see our full events/workshop calendar.
Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Making the Case for Women's Equity is part of the Equity and Diversity Certificate Program, and is generally offered twice a semester (fall, spring, and summer). Register for an upcoming workshop here (scroll down to OED Certificate Workshop 8).

(L)Earning What You’re Worth: Salary Negotiation (2 hrs)
Women make 77 cents on the dollar (stats are lower for women of color), and can lose $1.2 million over the course of a lifetime. This workshop is designed to help participants understand why the pay gap occurs, and equip them with concrete tools to assess their strengths, be their own best advocate and negotiate higher salaries at any stage of their career development. You may also be interested in our online salary negotiation module, which you can do at your own pace.
Dare to Be Powerful: Assertiveness for Equity (3 hrs)
How do you step up to be heard while being respectful? How do you stop sexist language or comments from a colleague? How do you respond when someone says, “Lighten up, it was just a joke”? In this interactive workshop, participants increase their knowledge of women’s status today, and practice assertive bystander interventions leaving with concrete tools to be more effective allies!
Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Making the Case for Women's Equity (3 hrs)
The media makes it sound like women have reached equality. What's the truth? And how do you make the case quickly, i.e., in the time it takes for an elevator ride? In this interactive workshop, increase your knowledge of women’s stats today, share ideas for breaking the ceiling, and practice making a one-minute case explaining how achieving women’s equity benefits everyone. (This workshop is part of the Equity and Diversity Certificate Program.)
Women Lead! (2 - 8 hrs)
Not Leadership 101. In this interactive workshop, women leaders consider personal and cultural leadership styles, discuss handling bias, engage in small group discussions and case studies, and develop their own personal leadership branding.
