Get Involved

Because we believe that equity and diversity is everyone’s everyday work, we recognize the importance of working collaboratively to achieve common goals. We offer a variety of opportunities for involvement, with different time commitments and areas of concentration. Students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members may explore new interests and share their passion and talents by volunteering with the Office for Equity and Diversity and its units.

Some of the benefits of volunteering with us include:

Faculty Development

The Office for Equity and Diversity offers a variety of educational opportunities open to all students, staff, and faculty of the university, including the Equity and Diversity Certificate Program.  The Critical Conversations about Diversity and Justice Series is open to all community members as well.

As we are launching this new initiative, there have been some Frequently Asked Questions that we can address at this time:

Does this program only consider students interested in attending the University of Minnesota Twin Cities or other postsecondary institutions? Are CORE participants guaranteed admission to the University of Minnesota?

CORE Program Info
